Solar Assistant
Live monitoring for your solar inverter and batteries — built into every Global Power hybrid inverter. See your production, storage, grid, and loads in real time, from anywhere.
What is Solar Assistant?
Solar Assistant is monitoring software for solar inverters and battery systems — and on every Global Power hybrid inverter it comes built in. It turns your system into a clear, real-time dashboard of production, battery state of charge, grid flow, and load, without depending on any cloud service.
Because it runs on your own hardware, your data stays private and keeps working even when the internet is down — with optional secure remote access when you want it.
- Real-time web dashboard for PV production, battery, grid, and loads
- Built into the inverter and runs locally — no extra hardware, no cloud lock-in
- Historical data, energy reports, and PV production forecasting
- Works with a wide range of inverters and lithium battery BMS
- Optional secure remote access from your phone or laptop
- Automations and instant alerts on battery level, grid status, and more
Built into your Global Power system
Solar Assistant is built right into every Global Power hybrid inverter — there is no separate Raspberry Pi or monitoring device to buy, wire up, or configure. It is the same monitoring named on our inverter spec sheets, so your system arrives ready to show live data for the inverter, PV strings, battery BMS, grid, and loads in one place.
Integrations
Solar Assistant connects with the tools you already use and the systems you want to build.
Home Assistant
Auto-discovery over MQTT brings live solar, battery, and load data straight into your smart home.
MQTT
Publish every metric to your own broker for custom dashboards, logging, and automations.
Node-RED
Build flows and logic around your system’s real-time data.
REST API
Read live and historical data programmatically from the local device.
Battery BMS
Direct CAN / RS485 links to many lithium BMS for accurate state-of-charge and cell data.
Notifications
Trigger alerts and actions on grid changes, low battery, faults, and thresholds.
